Baby Smoothie: Strawberry Yogurt Flax

by Liz DellaCroce · 2 comments

As a new mommy, I am quickly learning the beauty of a few minutes to myself that don’t involve chasing after a crawling baby.  As a healthy food blogger, I also take pride in making sure my little one is eating the rainbow in nutrients every day.

My solution? The baby smoothie!  In addition to being a complete meal full of vitamins, protein and fiber, it also allows my 9 month old to feed himself.  And these days, he prefers it! The days of feeding him with a spoon without him grabbing it to throw across the room are slowly winding down. He prefers to be hands on and in leui of him feeding himself a bowl of oatmeal, this smoothie does the trick.

Win. Win.

Your straw is waiting.

Hi,
I would love to try some of your smoothie recipes with my baby, but am a little afraid to give him yogurt since he has eczema. Do you think I could make the recipes using breastmilk?
