My family loves seafood and one of our favorite types of fish is salmon. Full of healthy omega-3 fatty acids and an excellent source of protein, I always feel good about feeding salmon to my family.

In fact, the American Heart Association recommends eating fatty fish, such as salmon, at least twice a week for the omega-3 fatty acids which the body isn’t able to make on its own. Omega-3 fatty acids reduce inflammation in the body, which lowers the risk of developing diseases such as heart disease and arthritis. In addition, omega-3 fatty acids may help lower cholesterol and blood pressure.
