A hearty and flavorful one-pot meal, this Bowtie Pasta with Sausage, White Beans and Kale is packed with protein and nutrients.
We love pasta in our house – who doesn’t? Short pasta like these whole wheat bowties are especially popular with the little ones. My toddler loves the fun shape and my almost 1 year old loves being able to grab them with his fingers.
Whenever I make pasta, I like to bulk up the dish with added veggies and lean protein. Let’s be real, if you want your family to eat more dark leafy greens I highly suggest pairing it with Italian sausage. It works every time.
Speaking of family, today I am guest posting for my dear friend Lindsay of the highly popular nutrition and fitness blog, The Lean Green Bean. She recently had her first baby and has asked a few friends to help out and I was more than willing to oblige. A Registered Dietitian, accomplished athlete and all-around amazing person, please head on over to Lindsay’s website to wish her congrats and grab my Bowtie Pasta with Sausage, White Beans and Kale recipe while you’re there!
Your fork is waiting.
