Wanderlust is in my blood. I live to travel and love nothing more than planning my next adventure. With the holidays fast approaching, I thought it would be a good time to share a few of my ultimate travel essentials. Whether you’re heading out of town this holiday season or looking for a practical gift for the travel lover in your life, I hope these items encourage you and your loved ones to get out there and create new memories together through travel experiences.
Lay-n-Go Cosmo Cosmetic Bag: The ultimate portable makeup bag, this is an absolute must for any trip. Heck, even if you don’t travel a lot, you’ll love being able to easily transport your cosmetics between your home, the gym, the car, etc. Not only does it hold my huge supply of makeup but it lays completely flat when I open it up to get ready in the morning. A great gift idea for the holidays – buy one for you and one for a friend!
Anker High Capacity Portable Charger: If you’ve ever found yourself huddled in a tiny corner on the floor of a crowded airport terminal trying to charge your phone, this portable charger is for you. Upgraded from the PowerCore 16000, it charges the iPhone 6 seven times, the Galaxy S6 five times or the iPad mini twice. During my recent Princess Cruises getaway, this charger came in handy during our full day excursions to Santa Barbara and Ensenada. If you’re traveling over the holidays or find yourself constantly out and about with a low battery, this portable charger will be a life saver!
Dot & Dot Slim Packing Cubes: Ideal for saving space, these stackable packing cubes are great for stashing in your purse, diaper bag, suitcase or gym bag. They come in a variety of fun colors and are perfect for organizing cosmetics, jewelry, baby clothes, office supplies, you name it. When I shared a room with my friend Briana during our recent Princess cruise, these little cubes were ideal for taking turns doing our makeup in the bathroom or showering without taking up too much counter space.
Jewelry Roll-Up Organizer: Fun fact: I love wearing fun jewelry and accessories. I can’t help it! And when I travel there is no exception – I always bring a few key pieces that add a pop of color or glam up an outfit. During our 4-day culinary cruise we had several occasions for dressing up and this handy roll-up jewelry case came in handy. Not only does it hold a ton of jewelry but it folds in a way that won’t damage or ruin any of your pieces. Plus, it has a handy little hook so that you can hang it in the closet for easy access during your travels.
Contigo Autospout Water Bottle: Close friends and family tease me about this but I never leave home without my refillable water bottle. When I travel, I bring an empty bottle to the airport and fill it up at the free filtered water stations once I get through security. Drinking enough water is always important but it’s especially crucial the traveling to avoid water retention and bloat. By bringing this refillable water bottle with you there’s no need to spend $4 on a bottle of water post-security.
Anker PowerPort Multi-Charger: It is very rare that I travel alone but when I do, I am usually meeting up with a large group of fellow bloggers. My husband bought this multi-charger for me when I began doing a lot of travel for my blog and without fail, someone asks me where I found it on almost every trip. Nothing says love like inviting six people to charge their devices all at the same time using just one outlet! Whether you’re traveling with an iPhone, iPad, MacBook, you name it, this multi-charger will keep you charged up and loaded using just one outlet.
What are your ultimate travel necessities? I would love to hear from you!
Your passport is waiting.
