Chicken and Brussels Sprouts 

with Penne

Protein-packed and full of flavor, this family-friendly pasta recipe is made with tender chicken breasts and hearty Brussels sprouts tossed with lemon juice, garlic, and onion.

Ingredients:

Penne pasta

Brussels sprouts

Onion

Chicken breast

Garlic

Chicken broth

Lemon juice & zest

Parmigiano Reggiano 

Step 1

Start by cooking your penne pasta. Before straining your pasta, reserve about a cup of the water and set it aside.

Step 2

Next, cut your Brussels sprouts, dice your onion, and cut your chicken breasts into pieces.

Step 3

Cook your seasoned chicken until it is fully cooked and slightly browned. Remove it from the pan and set it aside.

Step 4

Next, in the same pan, sauté your onions and garlic, then add your Brussels sprouts and chicken broth into the pan to simmer.

Step 5

Once the Brussels sprouts are tender, add in your chicken, penne pasta, lemon juice, and zest, and stir well.
