This bright and refreshing gin cocktail is made with ruby red grapefruit juice and rosemary simple syrup. Festive enough for special occasions but easy enough for a casual date night at home.

Gin Grapefruit juice Lime juice

Ingredients:

Club soda Rosemary simple syrup

Step 1

Start by making the simple syrup. Measure out your sugar into a saucepan, add the water, and melt over medium-high heat.

Step 2

Trim a couple of sprigs of fresh rosemary.

Step 3

Once your sugar-water mixture is boiling, remove from heat, and add the rosemary sprigs. Let the rosemary steep in the syrup until it is cool.

Step 4

For a bit of added fun to your cocktail, run a lime wedge around the edge of each glass and salt the rim.

Step 5

Start your drinks by filling each cup with ice, and adding the gin. Next, add the grapefruit juice.

Step 6

Strain your rosemary simple syrup and add that to each glass. Top off each glass with club soda to the rim.
