Oven Baked Crispy Chicken Wings

Addictively crispy and easy to make these baked chicken wings are glazed with a sweet and sticky honey chipotle sauce. Perfect for your next gathering!

  • 4 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Honey Chipotle Glaze

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper


  • Pre-heat oven to 425 and line a baking sheet with foil
  • Place chicken wings in a large bowl and pat dry with paper towel. Toss to coat with oil, salt and pepper then place in single layer on prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake chicken wings until golden brown and crispy, about 25-30 minutes.
  • Prepare glaze by heating all ingredients in a small sauce pot over medium heat. Bring to a simmer then reduce heat to low allowing glaze to thicken slightly.
  • When wings are done baking, remove from oven and brush glaze over both sides of each chicken wing. Return wings to oven and bake for additional 5 minutes to allow glaze to set.
  • Serve immediately.
