Honey Mustard Vinaigrette Salad Dressing 🥗
This simple, homemade honey dijon vinaigrette recipe takes just minutes to make using pantry staples you likely already have on hand!
Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 lemon juiced about 1/4 cup
- salt and pepper to taste
Place all ingredients in a resealable glass jar and shake well. Check for seasoning and adjust accordingly.
Serve over salad greens immediately or store in an air-tight refrigerated container for up to 10 days.
How long does fresh salad dressing keep for?
You should be able to keep it in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
Can you replace the lemon juice with apple cider vinegar?
I wouldn’t do that as the apple cider vinegar would be too strong. I would use rice vinegar and use half the amount of lemon juice and add from there to taste.
Should I use regular olive oil or Extra Virgin Olive Oil?
I would use EVOO
What else could this salad dressing be used for?
Could be used as a honey mustard dip for chicken tenders or used as a dip for roasted sweet potatoes.
