Strawberry Banana Protein Smoothie

This thick and creamy strawberry banana smoothie is naturally sweetened, kid-friendly and great for busy mornings on-the-go!

  • 1 cup strawberries fresh or frozen
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup plain whole milk yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons flax seed meal
  • 2 inch piece ginger thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup ice plus more to thicken
  • chia seeds optional garnish


  • Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and puree until smooth. Feel free to add more ice for a thicker smoothie.
  • Serve in two glasses and sprinkle with chia seeds if you wish. Enjoy!
