Roasted Garlic Green Beans

A quick and easy veggie side dish recipe, steamed green beans are tossed with roasted garlic and fresh lemon juice.

  • 1 pound green beans trimmed
  • 8 cloves roasted garlic lightly minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes


  • Place a steamer basket into a medium stock pot filled with 2-3 inches of water. Bring water to a boil then place green beans on top of steamer basket. Cover pot with lid and steam until green beans are crisp-tender, about 5-6 minutes.
  • Toss steamed green beans with roasted garlic, lemon juice, salt and chili flakes.
