This fun and patriotic red, white and blue layered smoothie is packed with nutrients, not sugar! The perfect healthy sweet treat for kids and adults alike to enjoy during the holidays or any time of year.
Working one layer at a time, start by placing all of the ingredients in the bottom layer in a high speed blender and pureeing until smooth. Divide evenly between two tall glasses.
Rinse blender then repeat step one with the middle layer ingredients. Finally, repeat step two with the top layer ingredients.
Notes
If you’re not working with frozen fruit the layers will not be thick enough to stay separate. Instead, try blending in ice and/or placing the glass in the freezer between each layer. That said, it tastes just as delicious if the layers don’t stay separate.
