Ingredients

ounces
chicken breasts
boneless, skinless
2
sweet bell peppers (any color)
cored and thinly sliced
1
large
yellow onion
thinly sliced
1
tablespoon
cumin
1
tablespoon
garlic powder
1 ½
teaspoons
salt
1
teaspoon
smoked paprika
1
teaspoon
oregano
½
teaspoon
cayenne
optional
8
ounces
beer
or chicken stock
flour tortillas
to serve
cilantro, sour cream, guacamole
optional toppings
Instructions
Line the bottom of a slow cooker with the chicken breasts, peppers and onions. Sprinkle with the spices (cumin through cayenne) then pour in beer.
Heat on Low for 8 hours or High for 4 hours. Shred chicken with two forks and serve with warmed flour tortillas and toppings of choice.
