cored and thinly sliced

Instructions
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
In a medium bowl, toss apples with half of the apples (1 teaspoon cinnamon.) Place cinnamon-scented apples in the bottom of a 9″ x 13″ baking dish.
In a medium bowl, toss together all remaining ingredients: oats through ground ginger. Spread oat mixture evenly on top of apples.
Bake until oat topping is golden brown and apples are warm and bubbly, about 45 minutes. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if you wish.
