To brew the extra strong coffee, I suggest 1/2 cup ground coffee with 4 cups water.
While the coffee is brewing, whisk together pumpkin pie spice, maple syrup, vanilla and milk in a small sauce pot over medium heat. Continue whisking until bubbles start to form around the edges.
Fill four coffee mugs halfway with coffee then top with the warm milk mixture. Garnish with whipped cream and a pinch of cinnamon if you wish. Serve immediately.

If you have a milk frother at home, this is a great time to use it! It's just as delicious without, however.
