Raspberry Greek yogurt popsicles on a plate with fresh raspberries.

Ever since my boys were little, I have tried to find ways to make sweet treats healthier. From the time they were toddlers, we’ve made frozen yogurt covered strawberries, chocolate chip zucchini bread, and the recipe I’m sharing today: Raspberry Greek Yogurt Popsicles. The perfect sweet treat as the weather starts to warm up, I also enjoy a good popsicle sometimes in the middle of winter! Either way, you’ll fill that sweet craving with no guilt.

Ingredients

Labeled ingredients for raspberry greek yogurt popsicles.
  • Yogurt: Vanilla Greek yogurt is the perfect amount of sweet, while also being a great source of protein and calcium!
  • Raspberries: A naturally sweet taste and sometimes a little tart, and full of antioxidants and vitamin C.

Easy Swaps

  • I love to use Greek yogurt for the higher protein content, but you could do this with regular whole milk or low-fat yogurt! Or use plain yogurt and sweeten with honey.
  • Try this with blackberries, blueberries, or other fruit like peaches or citrus!
  • I also highly recommend adding some orange blossom water. It’s not mandatory, but just like it does in cocktails and desserts, it is what will have your friends asking for the recipe.

How to Make Raspberry Greek Yogurt Popsicles

Mashing fresh raspberries with a fork in a bowl.

Step 1. Take your fresh raspberries and mash them up a bit in a bowl.

Adding yogurt to a bowl.

Step 2. Add your Greek yogurt to a large bowl.

Mixing mashed raspberries and yogurt in a bowl.

Step 3. Add the mashed berries and mix until fully incorporated.

Pouring raspberry yogurt mixture into popsicle mold.

Step 4. Pour mixture evenly into popsicle molds, or small cups with popsicle sticks. Then throw in the freezer until firm.

The more fat, the more creamy and less icy they’ll be. So if you’re using low-fat yogurt, try using whole milk yogurt instead.

Does Greek yogurt help with weight loss?

Greek yogurt can be one part of a healthy, balanced diet, and it’s higher protein content can help you feel fuller for longer.

What mixes well with Greek yogurt?

Plenty of fresh fruits are great with Greek yogurt, along with nuts and honey. If you’re using plain Greek yogurt, it works as a great alternative to sour cream!

I’m in the market for a new ice cream maker!! Maybe I’ll win. :) My favorite ice cream flavor is probably vanilla bean or french vanilla. Or neopoltan so I can have a scoop of each. I know that sounds basic but when it comes to ice cream I love vanilla! The toppings are where it’s at.

We have an ice cream truck that comes through our neighborhood, but I don’t know how he stays in business because he drives so fast that by the time you hear the song, he’s already gone! I would much rather have one of these, anyway. I need to pick up some orange blossom water, and Greek yogurt is so perfect for popsicles!
