There’s only one thing I heart more than snacks and that’s ALLTHINGS PUMPKIN!!

Pumpkin Recipes

Despite popular opinion, I’m not a huge fan of those cloyingly sweet pumpkin drinks made with artificial flavoring. Personally, I prefer the real deal pure pumpkin and being able to control the spices at home.

If you’re not throwing a party, whip up a big batch and serve it on its own for a healthy post-gym snack or with muesli for a quick breakfast. The protein and vitamins in the Greek yogurt paired with the fiber and nutrients in the pure pumpkin make this dip the ultimate healthy treat.

The consistancy of mine turned out well. I used a blender on whip and pulse. I doubled the recipe for two events. I thought it was a bit sour/tart and was wondering how to sweeten it up a bit. Others liked it though!

So bummed, I made this recipe and now I just threw it down the sink! It is more like pumpkin drink, it wasn’t thick at all, I have looked at the recipe and the blog at least a dozen times, I did exactly what is stated. I can’t believe that is her bowl of pumpkin dip!

Hi Grady! Thanks for writing in. Did you use *Greek* yogurt? The thick kind? I’ve made this many times and it always gets devoured so I want to see where I can help you make it a success as well. let me know! :)

Yes I did use Greek yogurt, it is called The Greek Gods. I was pretty frustrated because I was having friends over for a scrapbook day. And I used the pure pumpkin.

Tried to make this dip as well and it turns out into a liquid. Is there a chance the food processor is too much and causes this? Thinking of trying another batch but just hand stirring or blending?

Yes I don’t use a food processor just a whisk or fork!

This sounds wonderful, although I would use allspice in place of the cloves (clove flavor is just too unpleasantly strong for us). I think it would also make a really nice frozen dessert, for those of us who live in a less chilly climate.
