These sweet-tart frozen blood orange margaritas are perfectly balanced and ideal for entertaining.

As we head into the busy entertaining season, I can’t think of anything more celebratory than a thick and frosty frozen margarita.

Sweet, tart and perfectly tangy, these blood orange margaritas are made with white tequila and the perfect amount of fresh lime juice.

If you can’t get your hands on blood oranges, use any orange variety you can find. Or, get crazy and swap out blood oranges with a couple scoops of fresh or frozen mango. As always, this recipe is more of a loose guideline than a strict rule book.

Whatever you do, just call your friends and invite them over. They will love this fruity, not-too-sweet margarita that puts the happy in happy hour.
Your straw is waiting.
