In honor of National Ants on a Log Day (yes, it’s a holiday!!), I’m sharing six fun new ideas for the classic childhood snack. With a variety of savory and sweet options, there’s something for everyone:

  • Tuna Salad
  • Peanut Butter and Raspberries
  • Guacamole and Pickled Jalapeños
  • Herbed Goat Cheese and Salami
  • Peanut Butter and Dried Cherries
  • Hummus and Cherry Tomatoes

Jacob’s favorite was the peanut butter with dried cherries but my oldest son loved the tuna salad ants on a log! Either way, one thing is for sure: they make the ideal after school snack or lunchbox treat.
