This light and refreshing blueberry flavored vodka lemonade is sweetened with blueberry syrup and made with a splash of fragrant orange blossom water.

When it comes to summer entertaining, I love making big-batch cocktails that can be prepped a day or two ahead such as this beautiful Blueberry Vodka Lemonade cocktail recipe.

The star of the show in this lemonade is a homemade blueberry syrup made with frozen blueberries. Of course, fresh blueberries work as well.

To make the syrup, you simply cook down the blueberries in a pot with a little water and sugar then slowly simmer until the sugar dissolves and the berries start to pop.

For an added floral note, we love to stir in orange blossom water. This is a little trick I learned from my mom and aunts growing up – it’s very customary in Middle Eastern families.

Speaking of warm day, I decided to serve a big pitcher of this Blueberry Vodka Lemonade at the most recent edition of my live party series, Beats and Bites – BBQ edition!!

The BBQ menu featured a variety of tasty bites including Slow Cooker Shredded Beef Sliders made with Certified Angus Beef, Grilled Corn and Zucchini Salad made with organic produce, Greek Pasta Salad made with rotini pasta and more.
To keep everyone refreshed and cooled down, I served glasses of Prosecco with popsicles upon arrival. As the popsicles melted, the Prosecco slowly turns sweet and fruity.

They were a huge hit with the guests and are super easy for effortless entertaining. Pro Tip: Place the glasses with the popsicles inside in the freezer a couple hours before the party to chill the glasses ahead of time.

We even had a fun, custom made balloon wall for the BBQ. These photo walls are a great way to encourage guests to snap pictures to remember the party.

Another party planning tip: mason jars are a great way to serve condiments for Italian sausages, brats, burgers, shredded beef sliders and more. By serving them in a see-through mason jar guests can easily see what they want and help themselves.

Needless to say, the party was a huge hit!
