Avocado toast has been all the rage for awhile now but I don’t see it going away any time soon. And for good reason. I mean really, what is more satisfying that warm, toasted bread spread with creamy mashed avocados?

Avocado Toast with Turkey and Egg

Ingredients
 
 

  • 4 slices thick-cut whole grain bread
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 4 slices Oscar Mayer Selects Natural smoked turkey breast
  • 4 eggs fried
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Sriracha to taste – optional

Instructions
 

  1. Place bread in the toaster until it is golden brown.
  2. While the bread is toasting, mash the avocados with a fork and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Spread the smashed avocados evenly on top of each piece of toasted bread.
  4. Top with each piece of avocado toast with smoked turkey slices and a fried egg.
  5. Drizzle to taste with Sriracha.

    This was very good. I should have heated up the turkey slices as it took away from he warm egg.

    But honestly, it s just my favorite meal of the day. I love that it s something you can get really creative with. There are so many sweet and savory options. Also, you can eat it for any meal without it being weird. You just can t have dinner for breakfast pasta in the morning? Gross. You’ll regret that one later.
