There’s something about a perfectly cooked fish that makes me feel like I’m on a beach vacation, all the more so when it’s paired with sweet and slightly spicy salsa. This combo is paired perfectly with my Broiled Whitefish with Mango Salsa.

Whitefish are favorites of seafood eaters, and can even appeal to those who think of themselves as more seafood-averse. Their low oil content and mild flavor make them an excellent backdrop for more flavor-packed sides, sauces, and salsas.

Ingredients

  • Whitefish: My go to choices are halibut, tilapia, or grouper.
  • Olive oil: Coats the fish to help it cook evenly and the seasoning stick.
  • Mango salsa: I love to make my own with fresh mango, onion, cilantro, chili pepper, and lime juice.

How to Make Broiled Whitefish with Mango Salsa

Seasoning whitefish on baking sheet.
