Green smoothies are all the rage in my kitchen. I know a lot of people worry, “Will I taste the spinach?” The answer? Nope! At least not with the proper ingredients and flavors. The key to any green smoothie is a balance of sweet and tangy flavors, and that’s exactly what you’ll achieve with my Carrot Apple Ginger Green Smoothie.

    The perfect balance of:

Sweet: bananas, protein powder, apples, carrots, and vanilla.
Tangy: lemon juice, spinach, and flax seed meal.
    Spicy: fresh ginger root.
