Green smoothies are all the rage….. in my kitchen. People always ask, “Will I taste the spinach??” The answer: NO! The key to any green smoothie is a balance of flavors.
Sweet: bananas, protein powder, vanilla, apples, carrots, peaches, mangos, pears
Tangy: lemon, Greek yogurt, berries, orange, lime, grapefruit
Spicy: ginger root, parsley, celery, cinnamon
As long as the smooth has a good balance of sweet, tangy and spicy flavors, the greens simply blend in without anyone noticing.
Shh…don’t tell my husband.

I totally agree its about a good balance! This is my favorite juice combo!! I’ve never had it in smoothie form, need to try!
The Lemon Bowl
Isn’t ginger the best with fruit?? I prefer smoothies over juice – I love the added texture and of course the dietary fiber. I also love them nice and icy. :-)
