This creamy, citrusy salad dressing is made with just a few simple ingredients including tahini, garlic and lemon.

Salad is a huge part of my healthy lifestyle. While I grew up eating a Syrian salad with dinner every night, it wasn’t until I began my weight loss journey that I realized how helpful starting a meal off with a salad would be for reaching my goals.

You see, I’m not a big fan of deprivation. As such, I would rather eat a LOT of something lower in calorie than only be able to eat a few bites of something high calorie. The result? I’m a huge fan of giant salads.

To keep my salads interesting and avoid going into a salad rut, I like to mix up the ingredients and dressings. Most recently, I decided to create an easy lemon tahini dressing made with just a few simple ingredients.

Ready in minutes, you simply whisk together tahini with garlic, lemon juice, soy sauce, salt and pepper. Warm water is also added to create a smooth, pourable salad dressing.

While great on a salad, I also love using the tahini lemon dressing as a dipping sauce for roasted veggies, grilled meats, salmon and more.
Your fork is waiting.

This was so good! I’m glad I finally found a good tahini dressing that doesn’t have maple syrup. Thank you!

My oncologist does not allow me to have soy. Is there a good alternative for the soy sauce?
