A modern twist on the classic white Russian recipe, vodka is infused with chai tea to create a rich and creamy cinnamon-spiced cocktail.

In this Post: Everything you need for Chai Infused White Russian
Between Friendsgiving celebrations, holiday open houses, Christmas parties, Hanukkah dinners and New Year’s Eve festivities, I figured we could all use another easy cocktail recipe for the season!
The first event I have coming up is a Friendsgiving get together at my friend Kristy’s house which gave me the perfect excuse to come up with a unique cocktail. More relaxed and less structured than traditional Thanksgiving celebrations, Friendsgiving is a great opportunity to start new traditions. The star of this modern spin on the classic white Russian recipe is vodka that has been steep with black chai tea bags.

What is chai?
Chai is black tea that is flavored with warm spices including cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, peppercorns, and nutmeg. After as little as an hour or two, the vodka turns black as it infuses with all of these intoxicating scents of the season.

For a silky, creamy texture I like to use heavy whipping cream. While you could use milk or half and half, I figure what better time than the holidays to indulge in a little full fat cream. Am I right?
Your straw is waiting.
