Living in Boston during college, my friends and I loved frequenting Border Cafe in Harvard Square. Freshly made tortilla chips, homemade salsa, enormous frozen sangria – what’s not to love? Oddly enough, the reason we kept going back was their house made dill ranch dressing served on the house salad. Gigantic in size, this mammoth of a salad was loaded with rich, creamy dill ranch dressing. It’s a good thing Cambridge was a walk and bus ride away from my Boston apartment because this salad was certainly not the healthiest of choices. (Did I mention the salad was topped with bacon and cheese? Yep.)
Today’s recipe is an “Ode to Dill Ranch” and I must say, I think I nailed it on the head. This dressing is full of flavor and loaded with bright, fresh dill. It is the perfect dipper for fresh veggies and a delicious way to dress all of the beautiful greens available this time of year.
