This flavorful and tangy Dill Ranch Dressing is made with just a few simple ingredients including plain yogurt, fresh dill, and lemon juice. Ready in just 10 minutes, it’s the perfect complement to any salad or dip for veggies.

Living in Boston during college, my friends and I loved frequenting Border Cafe in Harvard Square. Freshly made tortilla chips, homemade salsa, enormous frozen sangria – what’s not to love? Oddly enough, the reason we kept going back was their house made dill ranch dressing served on the house salad. Gigantic in size, this mammoth of a salad was loaded with rich, creamy dill ranch dressing. It’s a good thing Cambridge was a walk and bus ride away from my Boston apartment because this salad was certainly not the healthiest of choices. (Did I mention the salad was topped with bacon and cheese? Yep.)

Today’s recipe is an “Ode to Dill Ranch” and I must say, I think I nailed it on the head. This dressing is full of flavor and loaded with bright, fresh dill. It’s a delicious way to dress all of the beautiful greens available this time of year.

Preparing
Prepping this salad dressing is as easy as mincing the dill and whisking together the ingredients. Everything comes together in as little as 10 minutes! Dill Ranch Dressing is also one of my favorites because many of the ingredients are pantry staples.

Benefits of Dill
I love upgrading this ranch dressing by adding dill. For starters, dill tastes great and has a host of health benefits. It’s rich in antioxidants, vitamin C and calcium. It’s also extremely low in calories so you can afford to add a little extra of this fresh herb.

Frequently asked questions:
What are other ways to enjoy ranch dressing?
Of course it tastes great over mixed greens, but we also love using it as a dip with fresh vegetables. Another option is as a healthy sauce for roasted vegetables, and it’s also great with homemade baked sweet potato fries.
How long can this dressing be stored for?
You can store prepared dill ranch salad dressing in the refrigerator in a covered, air-tight container for up to 7 days.

I ended up using super lemon juice and made it too sour. How can I balance this out? Any advice?
You could add a bit more of the rest of the ingredients without adding more lemon juice, and just make a bit more of the dressing!
What is plain yogurt? Greek? No sugar added? Etc. thanks
Just means unflavored! You can use Greek or regular.
