Perfect for entertaining or cozy nights in, this hot honey baked brie is sweet, spicy, and oh so creamy. The ultimate party appetizer, combining melty brie with a drizzle of homemade hot honey is perfect for spreading over crispy baguettes or serving with crudités.

I love the holidays not only because it brings my family together, but because I love to host dinners and parties. Holidays create a wonderful excuse to throw a little get-together and serve some delicious food! You don’t always have to serve full meals either, an array of appetizers usually does the trick just fine. Like my Protein Packed Baked Hummus Dip or Tomato Caprese Skewers with Pesto. I also love to serve brie of some kind, so today I’m thrilled to share my Hot Honey Baked Brie recipe.
Why You’ll Love This Baked Brie
- Completely vegetarian, and can be gluten-free as well if it’s not served with bread!
- Very simple, and uses less than 5 ingredients.
- It’s ready, start to finish, in less than 20 minutes.
Ingredients

- Brie: Creamy and buttery in flavor, I only use a brie wedge and not an entire wheel.
- Honey: Naturally sweet without being sickeningly so.
- Chili crisp: Adds some spicy crunch to the sweet honey, making it hot honey.
- Almonds: Sliced almonds add some crunchy texture and nutty flavor.
Other Variations
You know I don’t have the biggest sweet tooth, unless it’s mixed with something a little salty, so brie is a common appetizer in my house. I have a lot of variations you can try, like my Baked Brie with Caramelized Onions, Baked Brie with Apple Cherry Compote, or Baked Brie with Honey and Almonds.
How to Make Hot Honey Baked Brie

Step 1. Take your bride wedge and put it in an oven safe baking dish.

Step 2. Drizzle the honey over the top of the brie.

Step 3. Top the honey drizzled brie with chili crisp.

Step 4. Top with sliced almonds before tossing in the oven at 350 until gooey and warm, about 15 minutes.

Once the sides have started to melt out the sides, remove from the oven and serve with your favorite sides. Feel free to give it an extra drizzle of honey and enjoy your Hot Honey Baked Brie!
