Do you know how everyone has a handful of foolproof, go-to recipes that they keep going back to again and again? This appetizer is one of mine. In fact, if you’ve ever attended a holiday party at my house, there’s a strong chance you’ve enjoyed this warm and addictive Baked Brie with Honey and Sliced Almonds.
Ingredients
- Brie: Naturally has a mild, creamy, buttery taste, with a nutty, earthy flavor from the rind.
- Honey: Nature’s best sweetener, clover honey is most common, but honey made from different flowers will have slightly different flavors.
- Almonds: Sweet and rich in flavor, they pair wonderfully with cheese and fruit.
How to Make Baked Brie with Honey and Almonds

Start by placing your wedge of brie cheese in a square baking dish, you don’t want the dish to be too much bigger than the cheese itself.

Next, cover the brie and surrounding area with sliced almonds.

Then drizzle the whole thing with honey.

Bake at 350 until the cheese is bubbly and has oozed out a bit from the rind, about 8 minutes.

Transfer to a serving platter and enjoy!

I made the baked brie with sliced almonds as a Thanksgiving appetizer and it was a huge hit with adults and children alike. As a novice cook, it was so easy to prepare. This recipe will be a staple in my (limited) cooking repertoire. And I will certainly make it a Thanksgiving tradition going forward
I am so happy you enjoyed it!!! It is one of my go-to appetizers every holiday season!!
Yum! This looks so delicious! I love the idea of baked brie and am always looking for easy appetizer ideas. Love your site layout by the way- looks great!
Thank you so much Alex!! Appreciate it!
This says “Serves 16” but seriously, as an appetizer, how many people would you serve one wedge of brie? Since I have never made this before, i really have no idea! I’d love to make it for Thanksgiving.
It obviously depends on the size of your brie wedge but really it’s up to you! Technically, a serving of cheese is one ounce but if you are serving appetizers at dinner time I would plan on people enjoying more than a serving. Hope that helps!
My first baby is due in two weeks… Brie and a glass of red are within sight…!
