These fruity peach Moscow mules are made with juicy peaches, spicy ginger beer, and fresh mint. It is truly the ultimate cocktail recipe!

Pouring ginger beer into peach Moscow mules in copper mug.

One of my favorite things about summer in Michigan is the abundance of ripe, fresh fruit at my local farmers market. Lately, I’ve been buying tons of sweet, juicy peaches and thinking about creative ways to use up my supply. Refreshing drinks are a great way to use fresh fruit!

If you’re a Moscow mule fan like me, you’ve likely tried one of my variations like my Jalapeño Moscow Mule or Pear Moscow Mule. If you enjoyed those, you’ll love my Peach Moscow Mule. This cocktail is so delicious, you will want to make it again and again!

Ingredients

  • Peach puree: You can buy some peach nectar from the store, or make your own like I did!
  • Mint: Fresh and slightly sweet in taste.
  • Ginger beer: Has stronger ginger flavor than a ginger ale, really packing in the somewhat spicy punch.
  • Vodka: Clean and crisp, you could also use more club soda instead to make a mocktail. Or up the peach flavor by using a peach vodka!
  • Lime: Adds some bright, citrus flavor to balance things out.

How to Make Peach Moscow Mules

Peach slices and sugar in a sauce pan.

Step 1. Start by making your peach puree. Combine your peach slices and sugar in a medium saucepan.

Step 2. Then bring the mixture to a boil, and reduce it to a simmer. Let the peach mixture simmer for about 20 minutes (until it’s soft). Then use an immersion blender or potato masher to puree.

Step 3. Pour the puree in a separate cup or bowl, and place in the fridge until ready to use.

Step 5. Next, use a muddler or the back of a wooden spoon to mash the mint springs and lime wedges to release the juices and flavor.

Step 6. When you’ve finished muddling, add the peach puree, gin, and ginger beer to the pitcher. Stir until well mixed.

To serve, fill four copper mule mugs with ice and fill them 2/3 the way up with the mule mixture. Top each glass with club soda and garnish them with peach or lime slices and fresh mint. Enjoy your Peach Moscow Mules!

Frequently Asked Questions

What type of sugar do I use?

I used standard granulated sugar. I don’t recommend using baking sugars such as brown sugar or confectioner. Feel free to use Stevia or another sugar alternative if you prefer – just be aware of the difference in sweetness.

What tool can I use if I don’t have a muddler?

A muddler alternative is a wooden spoon, French rolling pin or anything that’s good at pressing or smashing food.

Can I use another fruit instead of peaches?

Of course. This cocktail recipe was developed specifically with peaches in mind, but you can adapt the process for any other fruit you prefer. For inspiration, check out my strawberry Moscow mules.

Ingredients

  • 8 sprigs fresh mint
  • 8 ounces gin
  • 12 ounces ginger beer
  • 2 limes juiced
  • 8 ounces club soda
  • lime wheels and mint optional garnish
Fresh Peach Puree
  • 2 cups peach slices fresh or frozen
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

Instructions

  1. Begin making the fresh peach puree by placing the peach slices, sugar and water in a small sauce pot. Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer. Let cook down for about 20 minutes or until softened. Use a potato masher to gently puree the peaches; set aside to cool. Place in refrigerator until you're ready to use.
  2. To make the mules, place the mint sprigs and lime juice in the bottom of a large pitcher. Using a muddler or the back of a wooden spoon, begin gradually mashing the mint sprigs to release the flavor and natural oils. Add the peach puree, gin, and ginger beer to the pitcher and stir well.
  3. Fill four copper mule mugs with ice and fill 2/3 the way up with the peach and gin mixture. Top each glass with club soda and garnish with lime wheels and fresh mint to serve.

While I like to mix this drink in bulk, you can also make individual servings in a cocktail shaker or individual glasses.

No vodka? This is a London Mule riff because of the gin. It was good with the peach too! Will be making next summer brunch for sure. Thanks for this!
