One of my favorite go-to protein sources, Ground Beef is versatile, delicious, and quick-cooking. Here are 20 of my favorite recipes made with Ground Beef.

Beef is one of my favorite sources of protein which is why I often snag a bulk package at my big-box retailer. Versatile, affordable, and quick-cooking, it’s hard to beat.

Growing up in a Middle Eastern household, Ground Beef has always been a staple in our house. Whether it’s a 20-minute dish like Lebanese Hushwee Rice or a slightly more elevated dish like Meat Stuffed Grape Leaves, I love cooking with Ground Beef. Additionally, Ground Beef can be used on any budget while providing necessary protein, vitamins, and minerals.

The Benefits of Beef

Beef is full of nutrients. It is an excellent source of iron and zinc, which help keep our immune system strong and metabolism functioning. It is also slam-packed with protein, with only 3oz of beef having 25g, which is over half of the Daily Value. While diet culture has scared many into swapping out beef for chicken or turkey, it definitely has a place in a healthy diet.

One of the many reasons I love partnering with Beef. It’s What For Dinner is because they support my mission for collaboration, networking, and learning with other food content creators.

For a second year in a row, they sponsored and attended Fresh Air Retreat which took place recently in Breckenridge. While at the retreat, they spoiled us with a chef’s dinner prepared by Rasheed Philips who demonstrated how to cook Ribeye Steaks.

Hearty Beef Chili

While I love a good, juicy Ribeye Steak as much as the next gal, I find that Ground Beef is almost always on hand in my fridge or freezer. In case you’re anything like me, I thought it would be helpful to share a few of my go-to recipes for Ground Beef.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What type of Ground Beef is best?

I like a healthy balance of fat in my beef, as it adds flavor, so in most of my recipes I use a Ground Chuck (80% lean/20% fat), but certain recipes call for Ground Sirloin (90% lean/10% fat).

Can I replace Ground Beef with Shredded Beef?

Yes, in most recipes you can replace the Ground Beef with a different cut of beef if desired.

Where can I learn more about the retreat?

I am currently working on a post all about the retreat, so stay tuned! We will also be announcing dates and locations for two retreats in 2022.
