An easy, portable, make-ahead breakfast recipe, your family will love these thick and creamy Peaches and Cream Overnight Oats.

Since we’re still kicking it around 90 degrees here in Michigan, I’ve been loving overnight refrigerator oats. It is nothing more than the combination of oats, yogurt, and milk with any seasonal fruits and your favorite spices. In celebration of peach season, I decided to make this Peaches and Cream Overnight Oats to really embrace summer.
Juicy, ripe locally grown peaches are folded into the oats and served on top along with chopped walnuts for added texture, protein and healthy fats. Since it can be prepped up to 4 days ahead of time, breakfast is on the table faster than you can say “oatmeal.”
Ingredients

- Oats: Full of fiber and protein, I use rolled oats for this recipe.
- Yogurt: I like to use vanilla Greek yogurt for flavor with added protein.
- Milk: I use low fat cow’s milk, but you can use non-dairy milks as well.
- Peaches: Juicy and naturally sweet in every bite.
- Warm spices: Cinnamon and nutmeg add warmth and antioxidants to the oats.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! They are made exactly the same way, just having two names.
If you can give them 8 hours, your overnight oats will be the most creamy and best texture. But for them to be enjoyable to eat, you just need to let your oats soak for at least 2 hours.
Fresh or dried fruit always adds a great, natural sweetness. Spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and allspice are great to mix in. Flavor them like you would oatmeal with honey, brown sugar, or maple syrup. Try mixing in nut butters, like peanut butter or almond butter, and cocoa powder.
